Hey all,
It's been a while hasn't it? I've definitely had a busy summer and it was all for the better I think. I had sooo much fun hanging out with family and friends and just relaxing after a stressful semester at school, and honestly, I think that was what I really needed to get back into the gist of things, you know? Last semester was definitely a hard one. I had no break from school and no time to get a job because of school. I was taking classes that were very challenging for me and all the while I was trying to make sure I passed with a high grade. So because of that, I couldn't find the motivation to do much else
but study. I kept thinking I was just lacking the inspiration to start a new drawing, but I was also lacking the motivation as well. So after having the opportunity to travel around to different states with the people I care for most, I'm ready to start anew
So, I have a new love (not a boy...sadly
). It is actually a TV show...possibly
the best TV show of my generation! Not really...but it's pretty damn close. It's called Merlin. Now I'm sure you've all heard of the Arthurian Legends, as well as the Disney classic,
The Sword in the Stone. Well this TV show is obviously based on both stories. However, in the above stories, Merlin is a wise warlock with a long beard and a pointy hat, whereas the Merlin in this show is young and not so wise (yet). Also in this TV show, the king of Camelot (Arthur's father) has banned all forms of magic, thereby separating the land of Albion. Merlin's job is to help Arthur become king of Camelot which will evidently bring unity to the lands of Albion. It's a great show filled with comedy, magical beings, romance, and action, and I am ADDICTED! It also doesn't help that prince Arthur is possibly one of the most handsome men I've ever laid eyes on...like seriously! Here have a look if you wish (

Anyway watching Merlin has somewhat increased my motivation to travel to England next year as it is a British show. I've always wanted to go, but now it's definitely a must. So at the moment, I am making plans to attend a university in London for a semester. I plan to take basic courses for experience purposes...nothing too stressful. With that being said, are any of you from England? I love British accents. I recently spoke to my niece in London a few days ago, and I was soo jealous of her accent!
Alright enough rambling. I think I shall end this journal with some thank you's to my watchers and those who have faved/commented on my work. I really do appreciate your support!
