Selena-Q. by joelle-t27 Selena-Q. by joelle-t27
Wow...its been a while I think. I bet most of you were under the impression that I had given up on traditional art entirely. Well as you can see that was not the case. I just needed some inspiration as well as some motivation.

Anyway, here we have Selena-Q, who is one of :iconisaiahstephens:'s SSI characters and I did this for his SSI character contest.

I used graphite and prismacolor pencils for this as well as a reference of Miranda Kerr.

By the way, sorry for the terrible scan. The scanner took away some of the detail in the hair, and I don't have my camera at the moment

Thanks for looking :)

Absolutely stunning. The texture is spot on - everything from the hair to the softness of the skin. The colored eyes really make the whole thing pop.

I love how there is so much contrast with the skin tone and the eyes. however i second the guy who said they're too bright... although i'm amazed at how bright you actually got them to be (they kinda come outa the picture). You're drawing skills are amazing and i cant fault you at all!!! INSPIRATION? i think so :)

Wow, it really means a lot to know that I'm an inspiration to others because I know how important it is for an artist to have someone that inspires them enough to continue doing art. And honestly, I can say that you, as well as all others that value my art inspire me to continue doing what I do, and I want to thank you for that! :iconmonkeyloveplz:
